INTRODUCTION
Review from
the tittle above, the Final Year Project (fyp) committee given a task to study and develop a project regarding the final year project of each group that are
taking the FYP subject for the final semester. Our group decided to study and
develop an automatic pet feeder.
Why is an Automatic Pet Feeder....?
Answer : Automatic pet feeder is a device
that design to feed pets automatically during the owner is not around.
How the Automatic pet feeder works ....?
Answer : The pet
feeder is supplied by an Adapter that convert AC supply to a DC supply and a
rechargeable battery as an backup of the pet feeder in any black out incident.
The input of the pet feeder is that its need to set an alarm on the timer
circuit in the pet feeder. When the alarm is turn on, an Arduino uno
will respond on the alarm through the connected Relay making a the 3-9V DC
stepper motor to turn on for one minute. During one minute, the stepper motor
will only half rotate so that the pet feeder will drop off the pet food. When
the motor full rotate, the motor will shut the pet feeder food drop.
Advantages of this project....?
Answer : The design of the Automatic Pet feeder
is easily to hold and convenient to bring the device to any place. The
improvement of this device is that the container of the pet feeder will change
to a larger container. This is because to make the durable to contain the food
will longer.
Why using the Ariduino uno R3....?
Answer : Talk
about Arduino because Arduino is Open source.we know it ..so it easy
our group to program it .you can check this site to know more about .arduino.cc.
I would like to say that this blog really convinced me to do it! Thanks, very good post. automatic pet feeder
